Dr. Fadi Chanaa is a fellowship-trained gastroenterologist who specializes in disorders of the gastrointestinal tract. He provides comprehensive care for conditions such as reflux, difficulty swallowing, irritable bowel syndrome, inflammatory bowel disease, and colorectal cancer screening. He is especially passionate about patient education, believing that the best outcomes happen when patients fully understand their condition and treatment options.
Dr. Chanaa completed his medical school at Marshall University in West Virginia, followed by internal medicine residency at Wake Forest and then gastroenterology fellowship here in Charlotte at Carolinas Medical Center. After completing his training, he chose to stay in Charlotte because of the strong sense of community and the relationships he built during fellowship. He is proud to call Charlotte home.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Chanaa values living the same healthy lifestyle he encourages for his patients. He enjoys health and fitness, traveling, and spending time with his wife and dog, Deacon.
