Q: How do I find the Patient Portal Website?

A: There are a couple of ways. You may click on the “LOG IN HERE” button on the right of this page. Alternately, you can just go directly to if you know the address already.

Q: I had an account long ago, but I don’t remember my username or password.

A: You can recover your username and/or your password by going to Portal Login and look below the Username and Password fields. There is a link to “Need help with your username and password”. Click there and follow the steps for “I forgot my Username” or “I forgot my Password”

Q: I just received a token a few minutes ago, but it’s not working.

A: There is a delay of approximately 30 minutes before a newly issued token will work for new account enrollment. Once that time has passed, you should be able to enroll with your 1. Date of Birth, 2. Email Address, and 3. Token Number.

Q: I already have an account with another doctor. Can I use one account for both practices?

A: Yes. Log into your existing account. Look to the toolbar at the top. Under “Settings”, go to “Manage Practices” (Mobile-left side toolbar, “My Practices”). From there, Enter the Token, DOB, and Email address to add our practice to your account.

Q: I have logged in, but I don’t see any medical records.

A: Clinical staff in the doctor’s office will release medical records once approved by your physician. After that is done, you will need to look to the toolbar at the top of the page. Under “My Chart”, select “Request Health Record.” Click the ‘Submit’ button below to request your current Personal Health Record. Within approximately five minutes, your PHR will be available within your Inbox.

Q: Can I view/download invoices from the Patient Portal?

A: Currently, our practice does not have the online statement option available. Statements go out by regular mail. You may contact your physician’s office if you require additional copies to be sent.

Q: Can I pay my bills through the Patient Portal?

A: The NextMD Patient Portal does not have this functionality. However, you can pay your bill by going to From there, look to the toolbar at the upper right corner and select “Online Payment Center.”

Q: Can my spouse and I use the same portal account?

A: Only one patient record can be accessed through a NextMD Patient Portal Account.

Q: Can my spouse and I use the same email address on both our accounts?

A: Each NextMD Patient Portal Account must have a unique email address associated with it. An email address cannot be used on more than one account.
