Dr. Savan Kothadia is a gastroenterologist at Charlotte Gastroenterology & Hepatology. Born and raised in the Charlotte area, he received his Bachelor of Science in Public Health from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and his medical degree from Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine. He completed his internal medicine residency and gastroenterology fellowship at Brown University/Rhode Island Hospital. After training, he returned to Charlotte to serve the community he grew up in and he looks forward to building lasting relationships with his patients.
Dr. Kothadia provides comprehensive care for a wide range of gastrointestinal and liver conditions, with particular interests in colon cancer prevention and screening, irritable bowel syndrome, and disorders of the esophagus. He is committed to providing thoughtful, evidence-based, and personalized care, and believes in taking the time to listen to his patients and clearly explain their diagnosis and treatment options.
