Did you know that November is Pancreatic Cancer Awareness Month and November 19th is World Pancreatic Cancer Day? Today, I met with Dr. Atul Khanna with Charlotte Gastroenterology & Hepatology. Dr. Khanna will be speaking tomorrow, Tuesday, November 10 at 7pm for the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network/Charlotte Affiliate’s 4th quarter VIRTUAL meeting. Dr. Khanna will cover the latest diagnostic procedures for pancreatic cancer and other information about pancreatic cancer. He specializes in types of ultrasound that can be combined for use in diagnosing diseases of the pancreas and other organs. Dr. Khanna completed an advanced interventional endoscopy fellowship at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and joined Charlotte Gastro in 2015.
