Introducing our newest physician, Sid Sura, MD, MPH
We’re pleased to announce the addition of Dr. Siddharth Sura to our Mooresville and Ballantyne physician teams! Growing up in Apex, NC, Dr. Sura attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill for both his undergraduate studies and medical school. Between that time, he pursued his interest in health policy by completing a Master of Public Health degree from John Hopkins. After his fellowship at Emory University, Dr. Sura returned to his home state where he spent six years practicing GI before joining Charlotte Gastro.
He is a member of the American College of Gastroenterology (ACG), the American Gastroenterological Association (AGA), the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (ASGE), and the North Carolina Society of Gastroenterology. Dr. Sura was recognized as an NC Top Doc in 2020 and 2021.
Outside of work, Dr. Sura likes to spend his free time traveling, hiking and being with his wife and two children. He also enjoys watching sports; especially college basketball and football as a long-time UNC fan.
