Take Steps for Crohn’s and Colitis 2017
Each year, Charlotte Gastro is a sponsor of the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation of America’s (CCFA) Take Steps walk. This annual fundraiser was held on Saturday, May 3 at Symphony Park in Charlotte. The day’s activities were filled with a vendor health fair, games, prizes, bounce houses, visits from Charlotte sports team mascots, and last but not least, a stroll around the park to raise awareness of inflammatory bowl disease (IBD).
Charlotte Gastro raised over $3,000 through jeans day, a raffle, and donations. The practice looks forward to supporting the CCFA in their Patient Education Day and Paint the Town Red White and Blues Gala, both of which will take place in the fall.
