We are thrilled to welcome Dr. Alex Kesler to Charlotte Gastroenterology. Dr. Kesler specializes in adult gastroenterology and hepatology, diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy, colon cancer screening, inflammatory bowel disease, gastroesophageal reflux disease, dysphasia, and chronic liver disease.

Dr. Kesler received his undergraduate and medical degree from University of South Alabama, and completed his residency at the Mayo Clinic, then completed his Gastroenterology Fellowship from the Indiana University. He is double board-certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology.

Dr. Kesler is passionate about gastroenterology because it allows the opportunity to develop meaningful doctor-patient relationships while treating illness, and also allowing the opportunity to educate patients on colon cancer screenings. His primary goal as a physician is to work alongside his patients to provide compassionate care and listen to each individual patient’s needs to form a treatment plan they will feel comfortable with.
